Erik Jacobson graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice in 1997. He attended law school at the James E Rogers College of Law, at the University of Arizona, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2001. Erik passed the Arizona Bar and worked as a County Attorney with the Pima County Attorney’s Office, before leaving to work for a nationwide bankruptcy collection firm. Erik moved to Utah where he was admitted to the Utah State Bar. He worked for 13 years as a public defender at the Utah County Public Defender Association. During this time, he was awarded the Mentor of the Year, and Youth Advocate of the Year awards. Erik specializes in family law, custody disputes, child welfare cases, and criminal defense.
